Chamomile to the rescue!
With all this hype about H1N1 and whatnot going around I figured it would be good to post a tea that boosts the immune system and contains lots of antioxidants. I've already discussed the health benefits of Tulsi so I figured I would skip it and go straight to our main character. I was digging around in our tea cabinet to find something different then my usual green tea and found my mothers Honey Chamomile Tulsi tea. It's caffeine-free, unfortunately, but I think the healthy benefits make up for that. In fact, Chamomile has a numerous amount health benefits. So the blend of Tulsi and Chamomile makes for quite a team. Ah! And there is honey in there as well! What a trio!
Name: Honey Chamomile

Jasmine
Before I ever knew what tea was (not kidding) I drank a lot of Jasmine tea. Most of the time I would put about a 1/2 a teaspoon of honey while it was steeping to make it more sweet. I realize now that adding the honey in allows the tea to steep longer without having to worry about the tannin making it bitter. Which then allows the Jasmine to steep longer and provide that amazing floral flavor. The best part of the tea has to be the smell though. Even if you over steep it and it becomes bitter you can just sit there and smell it.
Name: Jasmine
Type: Green, Floral
Company/ Purchased: Caribou
Comments: Good taste, great aroma. Needed the honey to achieve the full flavor but still it tastes great.
Company: Yamamotoyama
Purchased: United Noodles Oriental Food
Comments: Same as above but honey is not needed as much.
If you have a Jasmine tea you love let me know!
