In my past couple of red tea posts I've talked all about Rooibos red tea, which is not the red tea that is shown on steeping charts. This unique tea generally is produced in Sri Lanka, once known as Ceylon. (Sri Lanka was once known as Ceylon.) It is between black and green in both taste and processing but like all other teas is unique in and of its self. The one I am drinking right now is somewhat fruity with a coppery after taste. I don't mind it but it has a bitter flavor in there somewhere that bothers me enough to not want to drink it every time I look at the can.
